1. Controller
Last updated: 19 October 2026. This notice applies to the information website of THE VIA X HOLDING.
The controller is THE VIA X HOLDING UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Lange Straße 93, 90762 Fürth, Germany. Telephone: +49 (0)911 31109020. Email: info@viaxholding.com. Please use these contact details for privacy enquiries and to exercise your rights.
2. Purposes and legal bases
We process personal data to operate and protect this website, respond to enquiries and arrange appointments. Personal data is information relating to an identified or identifiable individual.
- Article 6(1)(a) GDPR: consent to optional external content.
- Article 6(1)(b) GDPR: contractual enquiries and steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.
- Article 6(1)(c) GDPR: compliance with legal obligations, including applicable retention duties.
- Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: our legitimate interests in a secure, functioning information website and responding to other enquiries.
3. Hosting and server logs
This website is hosted by Wix.com Ltd., 5 Yunitsman St., Tel Aviv, Israel. Wix provides hosting, content management and technical security functions. Articles are retrieved from the Wix CMS on the server.
Requests involve processing IP addresses, access times, requested addresses, browser and operating-system details, referring pages where provided, and technical error and security information. This supports delivery, reliability, abuse prevention and fault diagnosis under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Fonts and design assets are served with this website. Editorial images may be delivered through Wix’s media infrastructure. We have not installed additional advertising pixels, social-media feeds or visitor analytics services.
4. Necessary storage
- viax-holding-consent-v1 – VIA X browser local storage. Records your Bookings choice, timestamp, language, notice version and revision. Your choice is honoured for up to 180 days before a new decision is required. The stored entry may remain until replaced or deleted in the browser.
- wixSession – a session cookie used by the Wix integration for the technical visitor session and access to website functions. The production integration does not set its own expiry time; browser session-restoration settings may affect its lifetime.
- Hosting infrastructure may use additional technical storage for delivery and abuse prevention. This is separate from optional consent to Microsoft Bookings.
Storage or access strictly necessary to provide a digital service you expressly request relies on section 25(2)(2) TDDDG. Associated personal-data processing relies on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for secure operation and respecting your settings. See also Wix’s cookie information.
5. Consent and withdrawal
Microsoft Bookings is the only optional external service we embed. The consent dialog offers Accept all, Reject all and Save selection. The calendar loads only after you consent to Bookings and explicitly open appointment booking. Stored consent alone does not load it. The rest of the website works without this consent.
Loading the optional embed relies on Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and, where applicable, section 25(1) TDDDG. You can change or withdraw consent at any time using Cookie settings in the footer. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing.
Closing the booking window or withdrawing consent removes the embed. Changes are communicated between reachable tabs of the same website origin in this browser, not between separate devices or browser profiles. This does not delete data already transmitted, completed bookings or Microsoft-domain cookies. A separately opened Microsoft tab is not controlled by our banner.
When local storage is unavailable, the choice applies to the current page; other open tabs are notified where possible. We do not send your consent choice to an external consent-management service.
6. Microsoft Bookings
We use Microsoft Bookings as part of Microsoft 365 to arrange appointments. Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland, is Microsoft’s European entity; other Microsoft companies and service providers may participate in delivering the service.
When you consent to and open the embed, Microsoft receives connection and device information, including your IP address. Booking also involves the contact details you enter, your appointment selection and voluntary information. Microsoft may use its own cookies and similar technologies. According to Microsoft, booking data is stored within Microsoft 365 and Exchange.
We use these details to organise and handle your appointment. Contract-related enquiries rely on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR; other enquiries rely on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR and our interest in responding. Consent to loading the embed is separate. You may contact us by email or telephone instead. A direct Microsoft link takes you to Microsoft’s own website.

7. Contact and external links
When you contact us by email or telephone, we process the contact details and contents you provide to handle your enquiry. Article 6(1)(b) GDPR applies to contract-related enquiries; Article 6(1)(f) GDPR applies otherwise. Email links open your email application without sending a message by themselves.
LinkedIn and our business-area websites are ordinary links. No LinkedIn feed or pixel loads when you visit this website. You reach the external provider only when you follow its link.
8. Recipients and international processing
Recipients include the people handling your enquiry at THE VIA X HOLDING and providers of hosting, communications and appointment administration, together with their infrastructure and security providers. Data is disclosed to authorities or other recipients where legally required.
International providers may process data outside the EU and EEA, including in Israel and the United States. European storage does not necessarily exclude access from other countries. Transfers must meet the applicable requirements of Articles 44 onwards GDPR, including a relevant adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards such as EU standard contractual clauses. Consent to loading an embed does not replace these requirements.
The linked provider notices explain processing locations and safeguards. You can request information about safeguards applicable to your data and, where appropriate, a copy at info@viaxholding.com.
9. Retention and security
We retain enquiries and appointment data for as long as needed to handle them and complete necessary follow-up. They are then deleted unless statutory retention duties or legitimate reasons, such as establishing or defending legal claims, require longer retention. Technical logs support operation, security and fault diagnosis; their retention follows those purposes and the hosting provider’s applicable rules. Section 4 explains how long we honour your consent choice.
The website uses HTTPS. We apply technical and organisational measures to protect data against unauthorised access and loss. Providing appointment information is voluntary, but a booking cannot be processed without the required contact and appointment details.
10. Your rights
Subject to the applicable legal conditions, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability under Articles 15–20 GDPR, and the right to withdraw consent under Article 7(3) GDPR.
Right to object: You may object under Article 21 GDPR, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. You may object to direct-marketing processing at any time without giving such grounds.
Under Article 77 GDPR, you may complain to a data protection authority, particularly in your place of habitual residence, work or the alleged infringement. For private-sector organisations in Bavaria, the competent authority is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision. This information website does not make solely automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects under Article 22 GDPR.
